2Pac Changes:

Changes is a hip hop song by American rapper 2Pac, released posthumously in 1998 through Interscope and Deathrow Records from the album Greatest Hits. The song features American singer Talent who sings the chorus.

The song was originally recorded in 1992 and was produced by Big D the impossible, however a remixed version was eventually released in 1998.  Its subject matter addresses the poor standards of living in the ghetto, racism in the US as well as maltreatment of the black people by the police; and preaches unity among the different races.

Changes samples Bruce Hornsby and the Range’s 1986 soft rock hit The Way It Is and also re-uses lines from 2Pac’s I Wonder If Heaven Got A Ghetto.

Changes reached number thirty two (32) on the US Billboard Hot 100, number three (3) on the UK Singles chart and number one (1) in Norway and Netherlands.
